Christmas Light Contest is on for December 19 from 7 to 9pm

Anyone wanting to sign up for the 2009 Plumas Lake Christmas Light Contest should email your name, address, and entry name to PlumasLakeLights@yahoo.com. The contest will be December 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

The starting point will be Eufay Wood Sr. Memorial Park Community Park at Zanes Drive and River Oaks. Everyone will be given a map with the entries and a ballot. All ballots need to be returned by 9 p.m.

Anyone will to help man the ballot location for 30 minutes or so, please send you information and the time you can help to the address above.

I'd enter but I haven't been able to find anymore C7 or C9 lights in stores. I don't have nearly enough...

I have 5 unopened boxes and two used strands of C9s in my garage that I was going to post on here. They were originally $10/box, I bought them on clearance for $5/box, willing to let them go cheap. Make an offer and they are yours!

Yes, there appears to be 6 locations. Since we'll be out tonight I plan on checking all of them out. However, the AD website says I don't exist (onceagin)

so I may not be able to vote!!! I'm still checking out and enjoying the wonderful lights though! Way to go Plumas Lakers! :lol:

The light displays were great. The two on Sheridan were OUTSTANDING! It must have taken a couple of months at least
for these folks to create.

We voted, but do we have winners? Thanks again to boogsmama for taking this on. It must have been pretty cold waiting outside at the Eufay Park. We appreciate your civic mindedness!

Thanks for helping us locate the special decorated light displays (and to see others in the process!).

These were the addresses that were on the AD list earlier in the afternoon. However, when we went by to vote, not all of them were available to vote for due to being a late entry. Therefore, I understand there were only 5 houses on the list:

1190 Sabine Court
1403 Jacoby Creek Ct
2091 Roy Ranch Way
2224 Sheridan Ranch Circle
2233 Sheridan Ranch Circle
1091 Bronco Drive

They all deserve a hand for participating. You'll find there's actually quite a few other nicely lit homes as well. ENJOY!!

It was great getting to talk to so many of voters at the park. We had over 50 votes at the park alone. I will post the results Monday afternoon and deliver the trophys with prizes tomorrow night. I have to get the online results before the winner is announced. Thanks!
