I'm thinking about hooking up a digital to analog converter box and an antenna to pick up local broadcast stations. Just wondering if:

* Anyone here in Plumas Lake can pick up stations with an indoor antenna.
* Are Chico stations are receivable.
* What antenna you would suggest.
* What digital to analog converter box you'd suggest for a HDTV.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if my info is relevant since we did it back in the "analog days", but using an indoor antenna, we could pick up limited stations from Sacramento & Chico. I can't recall which stations it was, but they were not super clear and they were not all available channels.

Do you mind if I ask what kind of digital antenna you have, where you got it and approximately how much it cost?

Thanks!

We bought it about 15 years ago at the good guys and paid around 30 to 40 dollars for it
make sure it is a DIGITAL, and they come in different radius like, 25 to 50 miles etc....
we think Frys has them. ck out online and/or Radio Shack??

it's a great idea for extra tvs, like in kids rooms for cartoons, and not pay rent for more boxes
