My sliding door has become really tough to open. My research says I need to install new rollers but I have never removed a sliding door before. Anyone have any experience in this area?

Mine comes out while standing in the house looking out. Open the door half way, grab each side and lift up. While pulling the bottom toward you! Just like most windows!
I take it you tried cleaning the track and / or a little lube, or adjusting the rollers? If your in a new PL home it sure seems awfully soon to need new rollers!

Replaced rollers...it does work better but still not great.
