I had a great time at my yard sale Sat. and met some fantastic neighbors but was blown away by the "people" that ripped me off. I had video cameras covering my front yard. One woman swapped out her cheap sun glasses with a pair of Oakleys that where in a case that I was selling for $3. Another couple bought $3 worth of clothing and stuffed about 75 cents worth of stuff in it. Just 2 examples but I mention them because I know where or the area where they live and I might help karma out.

I know there where a lot of yard sales Sat. and was wondering if anyone else had any problems.

Wow, I thought it was just us. We got swarmed with people then items were mysteriously gone. An ottoman and a few small items are totally unaccounted for. I hope the thiefs were really needy and not just doing it for the thrill.

This could be a ring of thieves targeting local yard sales. Might I suggest contacting the Sheriffs office and giving them a copy of the video you shot?

Ban yard sales--for the good of the children...

We have had at all of our Yard Sales people coming up with the price stickers switched. $5.00 items changed to .50 cents ect ect. It's hard to keep track when you have multiple famlies selling there items at one Yard Sale. The last sale we had we found after the sale that some people had went on the side of our house and took items out of there packages and left all the packaging on the ground. So sad that people have to act like that...
