From today's Appeal Democrat:

2nd DUI arrest in Yuba County – in 6 days

A Plumas Lake man was arrested Tuesday for the second time in six days for driving drunk and crashing a car into the same ditch at the same intersection in Yuba County, the California Highway Patrol said.

Marc M. Riendeau, 30, was arrested about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday after crashing a Honda Accord at Erle Road and Griffith Avenue, the CHP said.

"It was his second arrest in six days," said Officer Jodie Beck, a CHP spokeswoman.

In fact, it was six days later almost to the minute, according to collision reports.

Riendeau was arrested May 2 after crashing a 2010 Buick Enclave at 1:57 a.m. and again Tuesday at 2:14 a.m.

In both incidents police said Riendeau was driving alone south on Griffith Avenue and ran the stop sign at the T intersection at Erle Road and crashed in the ditch.

No other vehicles were involved in either incident and Riendeau was wearing a seat belt both times — and both times it may have saved his life, the CHP said.

Riendeau received multiple cuts to his head, face, arms, legs and shoulders and was taken to Rideout Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released — both times.

Riendeau has not been booked into the Yuba County Jail and remains free until charges are filed by the Yuba County District Attorney's Office.

Strange that he did not go to jail after being released from the hospital.

Instead of just posting every time someone from PL gets arrested. You can just go to this website. http://www.localcrimenews.com/city/361/ ... -news.html
Within the first week or so you see the name, after that you just see the address. Just so you can name and shame them or if you prefer you can tar and feather them. But just remember an arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

I prefer to name and shame with the hope that it might make others think twice before they drink, drive and put me and my neighbors at risk. You are right an arrest does not mean a conviction, but the newspaper reports it and I know there are a lot of PLers who do not get/read the paper. I am just sharing the information with those who don't. Yeah for public records!
