Well, I finally crawled up there....

I've been finding that my HVAC (heating and a/c) system has not been keeping the back master bedroom either cool nor hot. Not as much as other areas of the house. So, I crawled up there to take a look.

Geez. What a shoddy job on this Beazer home!! The duct work is like an octopus with support straps choking off some of the duct work.

Anyone here have this problem and has anyone been able to get Beazer to FIX this problem under warranty? My house was built in 2005 and not sure if its still covered.

I have a similar issue with distribution of heat/air but I have not been into the attic yet... I really need to get up there.

I think if you call Beazer (who in general really suck!) the worst they can say is "no".
I'd be curious as to what response you got.

check your hot water pex pipe while you are up there! ours busted twice in 3 month because the 90 degreed the pipe over the 2x4s and they finally split. lots of damage. I need to check our ducts as well. our bedrooms have no heat or cooling. i bake in the kitchen though. no pun intended.

I am in a Beazer home as well (Independence) and have the same exact same issue in our spare bedroom, which happens to be the furthest from the HVAC unit. My husband has been meaning to hop up in the attic to check out the ducting and make sure everything is secured, but we just haven't made it a priority as the room is rarely used.

If anyone has a number for Beazer, I would love to give them a call to see if they are willing to do anything.
