Are there any car pool programs here in Plumas Lake to Sacramento, or a vanpool? I looked at the Yuba Transit bus, but the last bus leaves from Sacramento to Plumas Lake in the afternoon at 5:05pm. Seems like they should have a later bus for people who are off at 5pm.

Have you looked to see if you are midway between two points? I know a few people that will go to the closest stop if they get out in time or to another stop if they don't. There are a lot of places people work where there are several minutes between two options. It might be worth looking into, as the bus is really convenient.

Yeah, can't quite make it, I can get to P/9th pickup at 5:25 last yuba transit bus leaves at 5:17, that's pretty much the last stop. :-( If they had a 5:30-5:40, that would be perfect.

Bummer. Sorry. Good luck finding a carpool.

My husband and I carpool into Sacramento each day. I pick him up around 5:20 and we head home. On days I work from home he takes the Yuba Transit Commuter in. It sounds like Yuba Transit might be your best bet if they go later.
