People putting signs in door to buy vehicles

I have a truck in my driveway that I use only on the weekends.
I have gotten 2 separate fliers on my door, it's hand-written, has a phone # on it and is inquiring if I'm interested in selling the truck to call that # (same on both fliers).

I did and informed the party that I'm not interested and to go on craigslist.org to find a vehicle.

Question - has anyone else been receiving these?

I saw a man pull up in a big red truck and put a note on a car that is around the corner. It's owner is on deployment and the neighbor is storing it for them and it hasn't been moved in a couple of weeks.

The person, probably just wanted to buy your truck. I have bought two vehicals by leaving notes on them. I wish someone would leave a note wanting to buy my Jeep Cherokee.
